SMOOTHIE FACTORY ANNOUNCES ENTRY INTO UNITED KINGDOM & REPUBLIC OF IRELAND

TEXAS, USA (February 11, 2021) – Smoothie Factory International, a leader in today’s
juice bar industry, today announced that it has signed a master franchise agreement to
begin developing Smoothie Factory stores throughout the United Kingdom and Republic
of Ireland. The agreement calls for the development of stores throughout the territories
with the pilot location planned in the Belfast area.

Over the past year, the international franchise celebrated the first store opening in
Nicosia, Cyprus, marking the brand’s entry into the European Union, and is currently in
advanced discussions with additional candidates to develop Smoothie Factory stores
within other countries in the EU. Smoothie Factory stores in both the UK and EU will
feature the brand’s wide range of real fruits smoothies, cold-pressed juices, authentic
frozen yogurt, juice cleanse programs, superfood bowls, wellness shots, coffees, and select
healthy grab-n-go foods including salads, wraps, baguettes, healthy halo cups™, protein
and energy balls, and more.

The master franchise partner for the United Kingdom and Republic of Ireland is Smoothie
Factory (UK & I) Limited; a group with a proven track record of success, extensive retail
experience, and a deep knowledge of their local consumers and marketplace. The team
plans to open the first store in the city of Bangor, just northeast of Belfast, and will then
proceed to open both company-owned and sub-franchised stores within the larger
markets of Great Britain, Northern Ireland, and the Republic of Ireland.
